Matt Stewart is a Senior Manager on the Portfolio Operations team at Butterfly. In this role, he is responsible for working directly with portfolio management teams and Butterfly’s investment team to design and deliver the value creation strategy. In addition, Mr. Stewart manages operational value creation due diligence for new investment opportunities.
Prior to joining Butterfly, Mr. Stewart worked in strategy consulting at McKinsey & Co., where he successfully led transformations for Private Equity clients in the food, beverage, and manufacturing industries. Earlier in his career, Mr. Stewart worked in commercial strategy at Anheuser-Busch and in operations and strategic planning at Chevron.
Mr. Stewart holds an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and Economics from Purdue University. At Purdue, he was a recipient of the Distinguished Big Ten Scholar award for outstanding academic and athletic achievement as a member of the Men’s Swimming team.
